Barriers for every use
A Self Storage site often has long opening times, that often fall outside office hours. A barrier is often installed to protect the overhead doors. This barrier will only open when the rolling-door is completely raised. This prevents the high repair costs associated with collision damage to the door.
SC Solutions offers barriers for every use. All SC Solutions' barriers are characterised by their robust construction and fine design: with a stainless steel casing and a polyester powder-coated finish in signal red.
SC Solutions fits the barriers using in-house fitters as much as possible, but this can also be carried out in combination with a local installer. We recommend using our Modular Prefab System for the foundations. This System is designed for these barriers and requires no further building.
Barrier GRS 330
The smallest and lightest barrier in the programme is the GRS 330. It has an off-centre opening and closing mechanism that operates quickly. This barrier is especially utilised in narrow/tight entrances.
Barrier GRS 660
The most commonly used barrier is the GRS 660. With a barrier arm-length of up to 6 metres, it is especially suited for public areas and/or where little or no surveillance is possible.
The special off-centre opening and closing mechanism, the reduction gear-box and U-fork with double-bearing, guarantee problem-free working. This kind of barrier is especially suited for wide entrances.
